Kingdom Coins and Currency

Kingdom Coins are Imagine Fun's universal currency, used for purchasing items from NPC shops or other players! Earning them is as simple as going on your favorite rides and spending time on the server. What you do with them is completely up to you!

There are a multitude ways you can earn Kingdom Coins on the server – riding rides, selling items to players or Trader Tam, completeting dailies and weeklies, and more!

Prior to November 2021, IF used a different currency system, consisting of "Golden Castle", "Flynn Arcade", and "Penny Arcade" tokens, which were simplified into the Kingdom Coin system which is in current use. If you have old coins, you can convert them to Kingdom Coins by Shift + Right Clicking; you can also hold onto them to sell on the market to other players who want to collect them! Many will pay a far more exorbant price for one than the standard conversion rate!

Using Kingdom Coins

All Kingdom Coins you collect by doing things on the server will be stored in your Bank, which you can view by visiting Benny the Banker at City Hall or the IF Citizens Bank, by using your Bank app on your IFone, or by using /bank.

Purchases made from NPC shops or the User Marketplace draw directly from your Bank, so there is no need to manually withdraw Coins to make those transactions. If you, however, want to do a direct trade with another player, or want to raffle off Coins, you can click on the Coins icon and enter how many you want to withdraw from the chat; you can also do /withdraw <amount> if you prefer not to use the Bank menu. Doing so will create a "Bank Note", which exists as a stand-in for all of those Coins – think of it as a real-world check. If you are given one of these, you can Right Click while holding it to deposit it into your Bank!

Another option for sending Kingdom Coins to another player is using /pay <username> <amount>, which will withdraw that amount of Coins from your Bank and automatically send it to another player for you!

If you ever get physical Coins as a reward from someone purchasing something from the Buy Store, or from collecting them in other ways, you can do /deposit to transfer them to your Bank; alternatively, you can Shift + Right Click to auto-deposit them without a confirmation screen!

Trading

If you're on the hunt for specific items, why not try trading with another fellow player?

Most trade offers, such as "looking for" or "selling" offers, are listed or discussed in the #trade-chat channel of the official Discord server. In the server, you may also see other players offering items, using [item] to preview the item in the chat. If you see an offer you want to engage with, you can talk to the other player there or privately message them if they so prefer. Don't forget to make sure that you and the other player know each other's Minecraft usernames!

From there, when you meet up on the server to make the trade, you can do it in a couple of ways:

A drop trade involves physically dropping the items in question to the other player using /dropitems and the Q key. Be careful if using this method in congested or busy areas, as this means another unintended player may pick up the items!

You can also trade items using the Mail system, ensuring that the items are kept in an inbox before they are withdrawn. Be sure to make sure you are spelling the other player's username correctly when sending off an item!

There is also the trade menu, opened by using /trade <username> when in proximity to the user you wish to trade with. This is a 1:1 player connection that will send the items directly between inventories once the trade is complete, akin to trading systems found in other online multiplayer video games.

Be sure to check what items are being traded before agreeing to any trades, so that you don't get scammed! Hovering over items in inventories and previews will display their name and any additional information (such as Pin information or autograph signatures).

If you believe you have been scammed by another player, please contact a staff member or open a ticket with us in the official Discord server.

Always be careful with trading!

Player Marketplace

Whether you're trying to obtain a certain item or want to get rid of something you don't want anymore, the user marketplace is the place to do it! Through this interface, you can buy or sell things to and from other players, without having to directly trade with them. To open and view the market, do /market or /ah; either command can be used for any market-related commands!

The Marketplace

On the main page of the marketplace, you can view all items listed for sale. As previously stated, all items on the market are sold by other players. This means that you are purchasing from another player, as well as anything you list on the market can only be bought by another player, too. Simply listing an item up does not mean that your item is guaranteed to be purchased by someone else, and in a timely fashion.

If you believe someone is abusing the marketplace, including selling items that should not be obtainable by the playerbase, you can report this through /report <username> <reason>, contacting a staff member, or opening a ticket with us in the official Discord server..

While perusing the market, if you would like to search for something specific, use /market search <keyword>. Keep in mind that this searches by the name of the item and not by category or theme. You can also click the Clock button in the interface to adjust how items are sorted, such as by price, by name, by quantity, and more.

Clicking on an item will bring up all of its listings; for each listing, you can hover over an item to see how many are up for trade (if applicable), who is selling it, how much they are asking for in return, and how long it has left before it expires. Once you pick the specific listing you would like to purchase, a confirmation menu will pop up to make sure you are sure about your purchase. If you make a mistake or an accidental purchase, you will need to contact the player who sold the item to ask for a refund.

Some items may be listed on the marketplace nested under another version of that item, such as Black Kyber Crystals (nested under Red) or enchanted versions of items (nested under the original version).

Selling Items

Most items on the server can be sold on the marketplace. To sell an item, hold it in your main hand and do /market sell <price>. This will automatically put it up on the market for the price you choose.

If you aren't sure what price to put something up for, you can use the handy /market price while holding an item to price check it. This will print out the lowest price the item in question is going for currently on the market, so you set your own price accordingly.

If you would like to adjust your listings or take them off the market completely, click on the button of your player head in the Marketplace menu, or do /market listings. This will open a list of all items you have up for sale; clicking on an item here will take it off the market and put it back in your inventory.

Item listings will only last up on the market for 30 days. Once expired, they will be placed in a holding space for you to collect at a later date; you can do /market expired to see all of your expired listings. While you have expired listings, you cannot place anything up for sale, so be sure to clean your expired listings out regularly. From your expired listings menu, you can either Left Click to take the item back into your inventory or press Q to relist the item, which opens a secondary menu where a price can be readjusted by percentages before having it go back to the market.
