Stretching from the Disneyland Hotel to the Grand Californian, all the way to the entrances of Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure, is Downtown Disney – the ultimate strip mall of shops, restaurants, and more!

Downtown Disney is an area in the Disneyland Resort for shopping and dining; it also provides a footpath and monorail transportation to both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure.

Downtown Disney is currently only partially open and will be fully open at a later date.

The Esplanade connecting Disneyland, Disney's California Adventure, and Downtown Disney also functions as the main lobby for Imagine Fun, where players appear when they log in.

During various seasonal events, the Esplanade will be given themed decorations!
